Saving yet another desperate Event Planner
This time it was someone from the online service AOL who called one Friday afternoon in October 2010 about 2 pm our time. She was all excited about her idea to provide 500 custom fortune cookies for a sales meeting the next Monday morning. Was there a way?
A few hours later when we spoke, she was flabbergasted to learn that all 500 fortune cookies, complete with their custom message inside each one, had already been baked, hand-dipped in fine Belgian chocolate and sprinkled with red candy to match her color scheme. We were already packing them up for another same-day delivery to New York. Needless to say, we made HER week!
